UKRAINE INVESTMENT ALLIANCE IS A RESEARCH AND ADVOCACY ORGANIZATION COMMITTED TO FOSTERING A GREATER UNDERSTANDING WITHIN THE GENERAL PUBLIC ABOUT THE ECONOMIC, TRADE AND POLICY DYNAMICS IMPACTING THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE WEST AND UKRAINE. SPECIFICALLY, UKRAINE INVESTMENT ALLIANCE WILL FOCUS UPON ISSUES THAT WHILE EXTREMELY SIGNIFICANT, HAVE NOT GARNERED THE APPROPRIATE LEVEL OF PUBLIC ATTENTION OR DEBATE. IN AN OPEN AND CIVIL MANNER, UKRAINE INVESTMENT ALLIANCE WILL SEEK TO FACILITATE EDUCATION AND OUTREACH TO: OPINION LEADERS; INTELLECTUALS; AND COMMUNITY STAKEHOLDERS, TO ELEVATE THESE ISSUES IN THE PUBLIC DISCOURSE.

UKRAINE INVESTMENT ALLIANCE HAS ACTIVITIES IN THE FOLLOWING AREAS:A. THE PRIMARY ACTIVITIES OF UKRAINE INVESTMENT ALLIANCE, OCCUPYING ABOUT 49% OF THE ORGANIZATION'S TIME, IS THE PROMOTION AND ADVOCACY OF OPEN DEBATE ON GREATER ECONOMIC AND POLITICAL TIES BETWEEN UKRAINE AND THE WEST. SPECIFICALLY UKRAINE INVESTMENT ALLIANCE STAFF WILL UNDERTAKE SHORT AND LONG-TERM PROJECTS TO INITIATE AN HONEST AND OPEN PUBLIC DEBATE AMONG THE GENERAL PUBLIC CONCERNING THE DIRECTION OF UKRAINE'S RELATIONSHIP WITH THE WEST AND THE NEED FOR GREATER ECONOMIC COOPERATION. THESE ACTIVITIES INVOLVE THE PARTICIPATION BY UKRAINE INVESTMENT ALLIANCE STAFF IN THE PUBLIC DEBATE ON THESE ISSUES, AS WELL AS EFFORTS TO PETITION ELECTED LEADERS. THIS ACTIVITY IS KEY TO THE NON-PROFIT MISSION OF THE UKRAINE INVESTMENT ALLIANCE.B. PUBLIC EDUCATION: IN ADDITION TO PROMOTING AND ADVOCATING ITS MISSION TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC, UKRAINE INVESTMENT ALLIANCE WILL DEVOTE ABOUT 49% OF ITS TIME TO PUBLIC EDUCATION THROUGH MASS-MEDIA COMMUNICATION SUCH AS ITS INTERNET WEB SITE. THIS ACTIVITY IS AN IMPORTANT ASPECT OF THE NON-PROFIT MISSION OF UKRAINE INVESTMENT ALLIANCE.C. CONTRIBUTIONS: UKRAINE INVESTMENT ALLIANCE SPENDS ABOUT 2% OF ITS TIME LOCATING AND APPEALING TO NEW CONTRIBUTORS/DONORS. THIS IS AN IMPORTANT ACTIVITY BECAUSE UKRAINE INVESTMENT ALLIANCE DESIRES THE BROAD SUPPORT OF THE COMMUNITY AND NEEDS THE CONTRIBUTIONS TO CONTINUE OPERATIONS.
