BRIDGESPAN'S MISSION IS TO STRENGTHEN THE ABILITY OF MISSION-DRIVEN ORGANIZATIONS AND PHILANTHROPISTS TO ACHIEVE BREAKTHROUGH RESULTS IN ADDRESSING SOCIETY'S MOST IMPORTANT CHALLENGES AND OPPORTUNITIES.

ADVANCING PHILANTHROPY: PHILANTHROPY IS A CRITICAL ENABLER OF IMPACT IN THE SECTOR. WE HAVE HAD IMPORTANT OPPORTUNITIES TO WORK WITH PHILANTHROPISTS, FOUNDATIONS AND IMPACT INVESTORS ON THEIR SOCIAL CHANGE STRATEGIES AS WELL AS WITH GRANTEES IN PHILANTHROPY PORTFOLIOS. IN 2021, WE WERE FORTUNATE TO COLLABORATE WITH SEVERAL AMBITIOUS PHILANTHROPISTS AS WELL AS INSTITUTIONAL PHILANTHROPIES SEARCHING FOR EFFECTIVE WAYS TO ACHIEVE LARGE-SCALE IMPACT WITH THEIR GIVING AND WITH IMPACT INVESTORS THAT SEEK SIGNIFICANT SOCIAL RETURN ON THEIR INVESTMENTS. A CORE OBJECTIVE OF BRIDGESPAN HAS ALWAYS BEEN TO BRIDGE THE VISIONS OF IMPACT-SEEKING PHILANTHROPISTS WITH THE ON-THE-GROUND WORK OF NONPROFIT LEADERS.


STRATEGY ADVISING SERVICES: THE BRIDGESPAN GROUP IS A GLOBAL NONPROFIT THAT STRIVES TO MAKE THE WORLD MORE EQUITABLE AND JUST. SINCE 2000, WE HAVE HAD THE PRIVILEGE OF ADVISING AND COLLABORATING WITH MANY OF THE WORLD'S MOST EXTRAORDINARY SOCIAL CHANGE LEADERS INCLUDING PHILANTHROPISTS, NONPROFIT AND NGO LEADERS, AND IMPACT INVESTORS.WE ARE PASSIONATE ABOUT HELPING SOCIAL CHANGE LEADERS FIND SOLUTIONS TO ECONOMIC AND SOCIAL BARRIERS THAT PERPETUATE INEQUITIES AND PREVENT INDIVIDUALS, FAMILIES, AND COMMUNITIES FROM HAVING ACCESS TO OPPORTUNITIES THEY NEED TO THRIVE. WE USE RIGOROUS RESEARCH TO GAIN INSIGHTS THAT HELP OUR CLIENTS SOLVE PROBLEMS AND ACHIEVE THEIR GOALS.OUR SERVICES INCLUDE STRATEGY CONSULTING AND ADVISING, SOURCING AND DILIGENCE, AND LEADERSHIP TEAM SUPPORT. WE HELP THEM TO DEVELOP LEADERSHIP SKILLS THROUGH OUR POWERFUL PROGRAM LEADING FOR IMPACT, A TWO-YEAR CONSULTING AND CAPACITY BUILDING PROGRAM FOR NONPROFIT EXECUTIVE TEAMS. IN 2018, WE LAUNCHED THE BRIDGESPAN LEADERSHIP ACCELERATOR THAT OFFERS GUIDED ONLINE PROGRAMS TO HELP NONPROFIT EXECUTIVE TEAMS WITH THEIR STRATEGIC CHALLENGES. SINCE THEN WE HAVE SUPPORTED 394 ORGANIZATIONS AND 2,088 LEADERS IN THE ACCELERATOR'S FOUR PROGRAMS (ACHIEVING STRATEGIC CLARITY, INVESTING IN FUTURE LEADERS, STRENGTHENING THE EXECUTIVE TEAM, AND CREATING AN ADAPTIVE PLAN).
