THE MISSION OF THE ORGANIZATION IS TO ENGAGE, EDUCATE, AND UNITE TO ACHIEVE FOOD SECURITY FOR ALL IN THE CAROLINAS. OUR IMMEDIATE MISSION IS TO FEED THE HUNGRY WITH NUTRITIOUS FOODS; OUR LONG-TERM MISSION IS TO TACKLE THE ROOT CAUSES OF FOOD INSECURITY ACROSS THE CAROLINAS

ALL ACTIVITIES RELATE TO ENHANCING THE ABILITY AND EFFICIENCY OF THE FOOD BANK MEMBERS TO SOLICIT AND DISTRIBUTE FOOD AND GROCERY PRODUCTS FOR THOSE IN NEED. OUR FARM TO FOOD BANK PROGRAM PROVIDED OVER 8.2 MILLION POUNDS OF PRODUCE TO OUR FOOD BANKS TO DISTRIBUTE TO THOSE IN NEED. OUR NETWORK OF PARTNER AGENCIES HOLD FARMERS MARKETS, MOBILE PANTRIES, SCHOOL BACKPACK PROGRAMS, AND MANY OTHER PROGRAMS ALL FOCUSED ON GETTING HEALTHY, NUTRITIOUS FOOD AND NONFOOD ITEMS TO THOSE IN NEED WHERE NEEDED.
