ATLANTIC AVENUE PROMOTIONAL MARKETING:TO RAISE THE PROFILE OF THE AVENUE AND ATTRACT VISITORS, WE PRODUCED SEVERAL SEASONAL EVENTS DURING THE YEAR INCLUDING SPRING FLING IN APRIL, PRIDE IN JUNE AND THE RETURN OF THE ATLANTIC ANTIC FESTIVAL IN OCTOBER. THESE EVENTS INCREASED THE VISIBILITY OF OUR MERCHANTS BY ATTRACTING THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE, ESPECIALLY THE ATLANTIC ANTIC. TEMPORARY EVENT STAFF ARE OFTEN YOUNG RESIDENTS OF OUR COMMUNITY OR NEARBY COMMUNITIES.
MERCHANT CRIME ALERT PROGRAM: THE ATLANTIC AVENUE LOCAL DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION (AALDC) PROVIDES AN E-GROUP CRIME ALERT PROGRAM THROUGH GOOGLE GROUPS FOR ALL ATLANTIC AVENUE MERCHANTS AND MERCHANTS IN THE SURROUNDING COMMUNITIES WE SERVE.
